Milan, pronounced “My-lunn”, is located in Gibson County and has a population of approximately 8,100. Each year the city hosts “Milan No-Till Field Day”, the nation’s largest field day devoted to improving the production of no-till crops and conservation. Attractions include the West Tennessee Agricultural Museum, Gibson County Fair and Gibson County Lake. Yearly events include the Milan Downtown Fall Festival held on the second Saturday in October in the downtown area, with live music, beauty pageant and plenty of children’s activities.
